I am not a tenant at an HOA or rental property Silvercreek Association Management manages. I do have a professional relationship with the management team at Silvercreek and with several of Silvercreek’s property managers. I’m in the asphalt / concrete industry and the company I work for has performed work on several properties that Silvercreek manages. What I can say about Silvercreek from my experience is that their staff is professional, organized, and easy to work with. They are also good negotiators when it comes to finalizing and signing off on work orders. I imagine building owners would appreciate Silvercreek’s eye toward the bottom line and their desire to “reign in” project costs where they can when evaluating Silvercreek Association Management as a candidate to manage their properties.

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this email because I am a firm believer that feedback is a gift. It makes us aware of how what we do impacts those around us and allows us the opportunity to choose whether to start, stop, or continue various actions. In the past couple of weeks, Elizabeth Loveton has been an absolute superstar. Here at our community there have been some unusual happenings – a 3 hour marathon board meeting, equipment “failures,” and leaks kept us on our toes. Throughout it all, Elizabeth remained calm, professional, and thoughtful in her communication. She was available, set clear expectations, and exhibited an appropriate sense of urgency. Elizabeth doesn’t live at here, but she took care of us as if we were her favorite neighbors. She wasn’t deterred or flustered by contractors who recently decided not to work in Oakland or by my (probably too frequent) calls for updates and guidance. Instead, she answered every call and email with a cheerful demeanor while making sure the Board understood realistic timelines. Ultimately, though, Elizabeth over-delivered. The leaks that sprung up around the Building were patched in less than 12 hours. The roof that wasn’t supposed to get fixed for two weeks was repaired in 4 days – and by a better roofer. The fan that has never been serviced was serviced within 48 hours. This was a testament to Elizabeth’s experience and the strength of her relationships. I don’t know how we would have gotten through these past couple weeks without Elizabeth. She has really been our rock. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to work with her and wanted to make sure you know just how wonderful she has been to us.

My wife and I had many questions about gaining access to the HOA portal for property owners. Our first call was answered by "Rey," who answered our questions clearly and understandably. He listened patiently and walked us through the process of navigating the HOA portal. We very much appreciated his kindness and above all his knowledge of the system. Many times, when you call customer support for a product or an organization, you feel the person you are talking to knows less than you do. Not so with Rey. He clearly knew what he was talking about and had done his homework. We felt we were in good hands. Excellent communication skills. (I have noted that Silvercreek, as an HOA management organization, has received many poor reviews, but our interaction with Rey was completely satisfactory, and we wish him the best.)

Silvercreek Association Management is always professional in handling the day to day operations of our small homeowners association. Joanne DuBose, our property manager, is quick to return phone calls and is always familiar with the association's needs and financial standing. She chose a painting company that was economical and highly recommended. When we recently had our homes painted, the painters were professional and took great care of our landscaping and plants. When we hired Silvercreek a couple of years ago, several of our homeowners were way behind in paying their dues. They were successful in collecting the dues so we have been able to make necessary improvements. Thank you to Silvercreek for managing our property with care and concern.
